Radio personality, CEO and owner of MyJam Radio
Celebrating 41 years in radio.
In 1981, I started as a weekend radio host on what is perhaps the greatest
College radio station in the country, 89.3 FM WKKC, broadcasting from the campus of Kennedy-King College. I enjoyed many great years at KKC. It was the best (at that time) on-air college radio station in the city of Chicago hands down.
In 1991, I began working for 107.5 WGCI on the Doug Banks Show as his back-up engineer along side my mentor and protege Jerry (The Curl Man) Kuc. I also engineered for WGCI’s sister-station Dusty Radio 1390 AM.
In 1993, I started as host of my own radio show on Rap Radio WJPC 950 AM. The radio station was apart of Chicago radio history being the first and only rap radio station in Chicago, and one of few in the country. I also worked for Rap Radio's sister-station WJPC 106.3 FM as full-in host. I worked for both stations till it was sold.
In 1995, I began working for WEJM 106.3 better known as 106 Jamz as weekend host.
On Sundays I would also engineer for the Sunday morning gospel program. I remained with the radio station till it was sold as well.
In 2001 I began working for WPWX-FM 92.3 FM AKA Power 92.
In 2006 I left WKKC, and in 2006 I took my talents to the internet with my own internet radio station called MyJam Radio. We started this station on a laptop computer and we streamed the jams over a free streaming service until we began to grow, 16 years later and by Gods grace we are still here.
In 2018 I joined 95.1 FM Clubsteppin worked as a weekday host.
